Hi, I'm Lexine! I am a London-based Theatre Director, Actor, and Facilitator, specialising in movement, new musical theatre, and working with young people.
As an East Asian migrant artist originally from Hong Kong, I aim to develop better inclusive frameworks to make kind, imaginative, and identity-conscious theatre.
Recently, I was the Associate/ Assistant Director on Miss Saigon (Sheffield Crucible) and The Good Person of Szechwan (Lyric Hammersmith/ Sheffield Crucible). I also played Ophelia in Hamlet (Southwark Playhouse).
I am currently playing Flora in The Turn of The Screw at Queen's Theatre Hornchurch.
Training
I trained at the National Youth Theatre, British Youth Music Theatre and Tang Shu-wing Theatre Studio's Physical Theatre Institute in Hong Kong. I am a graduate of the
BA Drama and English Literature course at the University of East Anglia.
